I'm aware that it's been over a month since I've posted.
I feel another epoch coming on. I think that's the word - posed on the brink of something, could go one way or the other, or just a big "thing" or decision coming up? Normally I'd research the definition, but I'm researched out.
Every so often I mentally add another item to my entirely mental list of things I learned this summer, and then I mentally forget them. Here's what I can remember:
1. Honesty isn't always the best policy. Think carefully before you decide to lightly tell someone a heavy truth.
2. Always signal your turns.
3. There is no way to eliminate the blind spot.
4. A hands-free set does not make driving while on a cell phone any less distracting - but it does make turning and drinking coffee easier.
5. Go to bed early.
6. You really are just a number to them. Corollory - you are your best, most dependable advocate.
7. NEVER DRIVE EXHAUSTED.
8. No matter how hard you look at it, the dust won't go away on its own.
More later.
