I miss singing. No, I miss being good at singing.

I showed up for training this morning at Lake Winfield. My boss was late. The remaining time designated for training was then dedicated to bitching about the rec director, maintainance staff, and one of the playground staff. The gossip got very insulting and personal, aimed at two guys whom I consider friends. I drove off after a half hour completely disgusted. I came back later for work, and we ordered Chinese and sat around chilling like good friends. Go fig.

Listening to Chanticleer "Shenandoah" right now. I think I will audition for an acappella group next semester. Something so that I don't go a semester without singing.....nah, I just miss being the big shot in high school chorus. I really, really do.

Candice and I went to the movies tonight. I'm starting to really not like the Waterbury theatre - the usual group of local youth was being loud and annoying, having a great time visiting and chatting with each other. During the movie. God forbid anyone yells at them, because then you're a racist. The people who paid to get in were nearly as bad.

Mom, Dad, and little sister are going away tomorrow (this) morning for Cape Cod for a week. I think I lost another pound. I went to put on one of the skirts I got soon after I came home for the summer, and it was too big. :-)

Good night, to the soothing sounds of Chanticleer....
